    Hi guys,

I've owned a few bikes with character (MT-01, Monster 1100 evo), but I've always been looking at those XB12s (I think it's got the vibes of the MT-01 but with 170lbs lighter)...
Now I've found a clean 2010 XB12SS with 9000km on it. The problem is the bike is about 10h away...and I can't find ANY for sale closer.

I'm 6'1" with a 34.5" inseam, and have read mixed reviews about tall riders on the SS. Would any tall rider be kind enough to post a picture of himself on the bike while ridding?

    Thanks guys!

No pics, but a riding buddy of mine who's 6'4" dwarfs my Ss when he sits on it, but once he's moving, he says there's adequate room for him. I'm 5'11"& I feel like I still have some extra room on it; I even mounted higher R foot pegs because I had the room to do so.

BTW, how'd you like that MT01?

speedo: if it helps with your decision i'm an even 6ft. tall and 195 lbs. with 33 inch inseam and have owned every model of XB there is. i'm on my 3rd Ss long and find them quite comfortable with minimal wind protection. cityX hand guards and bikemaster heated grips help immensely. IMO the Ulysses is the most comfortable and the cityX and cg models the least.

    I'm 6'3" and 34" inseam and I find a XBS a little small.
I've ridden my XBSs 1200 miles in 4 days and it was super comfortable, except for the wind blast:) Stock bars and Uly pegs.

Yeah I fit perfectly on the Ulysses (felt very spacious), but being superficial, the bike also has to be sexy to my eyes :)

@Cooter, would you have a picture of you on the SS?

Get a uly, you can convert it to Tall Ss fairly easy if that's what you wanted. I've done over 1000 miles in a day before. Several 400+ days

Sorry Speedo, my arms not long enough to take a selfie while riding:D

And I sold it to pay property taxes
I'd like to get a CR in a few months and put a Lightning rear on it

Thanks that helps, looks like at 35" inseam with knee protection the frame will be getting in the way. :(

And I've seen Ulysse conversions, but still doesnt look as sexy. And don't want to put much money in mods to try and convert a Ulysse into a not quite XB12SS..., If the SS doesnt fit, I'll just stop looking, I already have an 1100 evo to spend on (and too much on maintenance). Just that I miss the big american v-twin feeling my MT-01 provided, and I think the Buells are far superior in the handling department (even if the MT was great for it's weight).
