Diablo's vs Conti's

I need some tires. I’m a newer rider, my XB12Ss came with Continental “Conti Motion Sport Touring” tires, although CycleGear has a sale on Pirelli Diablos right now. The Diablos are 209.99, compared to Conti’s that are about $20 bucks less but I’d have to order and wait. I haven’t ridden anything else. Any thoughts/comparison of the two?

Conti’s seemed fine. They’re cheap and it sounds as though they last a fairly long time. I’m largely a commuter, although each summer for the last couple years I’ve opened it up more and more.
