Hey guys. So I'm replacing the stator and the main shaft bolt is giving me trouble. So I have the metal piece that you use to lock both the drive gears together but now when I am rotating the main shaft nut clockwise, the whole clutch basket is now rotating and the primary drive is locked and not moving. How do I loosen the nut???
The manual says to heat the nut up to 935 degrees to loosen the thread lock. Use a breaker bar to work the nut back and forth to clean the threads.
Nvm. Just had my gf stand on the rear brake and I was able to break it loose. :)
