Is there a way to find out which dealership a Buell was originally sold?

With my Ford SVTs, I was able to call a number, give them my VIN, and they could tell me all the particulars of my vehicle (who the original dealership was, build date, #723/1300, etc.). Is there any way to look up info like that on a Buell?
Secondly, is there any way to look up a history on a bike, like a Carfax? I would at least be interested to know how many owners mine has gone through before it got to me.

Hopefully EBR can help you out but I'll tell you my recent experience with them: I called to ask about the ceramic coating on the Buell Race exhaust for my XB12Scg. They directed me to HD and to ask them. I can't say they didn't want to help but they may not be able to help under the current "understanding" between HD and EBR since Buell Motorcycles closed its doors. Might be that HD is still supporting Buell but not EBR so EBR has to direct everyone to HD... just a guess.

P.S. I laughed when they said to call HD and said: "HD is not going to know." I thought I then heard a quiet laugh on the other end of the phone. ;)

EBR referred me to HD, and HD was very helpful.
In 2003, 1094 xb9sls were made, and of those, mine is 1/574 in Midnight Black.
They were also able to tell me that the original selling dealership was Fletcher's HD in Clearwater (which went out of business in 2012). :(
