When my girl was born, I decided that I didn't feel safe in my RX7 anymore since after an accident on the freeway (wet road, curve, wall, 80mph) it just never felt right, so I sold it. Then it was my wife's idea for me to buy the Firebolt and it was my impulsiveness to buy the old Suzuki. Wife claimed one of the Blasts for herself now and I'm flipping the Suzuki while my original XBlast goes under the knife again all the while riding the Firebolt and saving money on gas.
Haha. Similar story to my buddy who got a 911 turbo when his first kid was recently born. Don't worry, the baby stuff and being a good dad will come. When my wife got pregnant and we found out it was twins, we (she) decided it was time for the toys to go (mine). The Porsche was first, then the bike, and soon the guns. That was twenty years ago. The guns are back, the bike comes back Sunday and I really don't need a Porsche anymore (did I really just say that?). It turned out to be the right decision at the time. It let me focus on being the best dad I could become. The passion has never died though. Never forget. Congratulations. Until later.
