I'll tell you where not to get a battery: Walmart.
I needed a new battery very early one Sunday morning about a year ago & Walmart was my only option. Their Everstart batteries just aren't up to the heat, vibe & cranking demands of our XBs, and it's failed on me twice in the year since I bought it.
To Walmart's credit, they replaced the battery no-charge both times, but I certainly won't be going back a third time!
Pretty sure it fits ill have to measure but that’s what’s listed for my 1998 S3 tube frame. XB batteries are smaller and the poles are reversed.
Got mine from autozone, 4 seasons on it, leave on trickle charge through the winters. I am satisfied.

the battery in my xb is from advanced auto i believe (maybe autozone). It's 3 years old so can't really complain but it was also about $115. This big crank is cheaper and will hopefully outperform.
Ended up getting a battery from advanced auto I couldn't wait for one to come in the mail.:D
