I want to put a Belt Buckle/Airbox Protector on my XB12S but don't care for the actual Buell one. What does everyone else have and where did you get it?

I've got a Progrip that I bought at a local shop (Sportland2). You might also check out americansportbike.com they have a couple options if I remember right.

I use that leather bra thing.... Cool because it protects and it comes off easy if you want and of course it goes back on just as easy......

I bought a clear sheet of Laminx film and cut it to shape. I made a belt protector and two pieces for each side to protect from my legs rubbing against it. works great and the best part is you can hardly see it.

You can see the one of the side pieces if you look closely in this pick.

You cant see anything in this pick, but it is there.

I got mine at a custom car shop, you know the shops that sell parts to the little rice burner cars with the exhausts that sound like Hover vacuum cleaners. They might have to order the clear laminex, and if I remember correctly its like 2 or 3 dollars an inch. An inch being 1" by 12".
I ordered a 12"by 18" sheet and had extra when I did mine.

    Hope that helps

There is also a company selling a full bike kit on ebay that looks to be similar. It is a little pricey at $75, but it should be no fuss with fitting, and you get protection for almost all of the bikes plastic components.

Its not letting me post the link but if you type in buell invisigard in the ebay motors section it should come up.
