Personally I think the ultra blue, or hylmer blue, is the best for high temp gaskets. Especially for the intake seals. One of the properties of that sealant is that it does not harden, therefore, stays moist and helps prevents gaskets from drying up and cracking.

This is just me thinking out loud, but I think this is a great opportunity for you to pull the heads and do the valve seals.

Good point Chicknstripn, Remembering the pics you shared with us of you valve shafts, that is something you might consider doing at this time.

I'm planning to sandblast valves with walnut shells without taking them out.

By the way. After Seafoam spray + Gumout fuell additive treatment the valves look maybe two times cleaner than 3500 miles ago but still have pretty thick layer of burned stuff on them.

Rocker boxes off. Great time for valve seals. 👍. I agree with above.

If you dont have the tools, just take the heads off and let the HD shop or any engine shop do it for you. Just throwing that option out there. Your engine will thank you for it ,run better, cleaner plugs. etc......You will save on all Seafoam spray + Gumout fuel additive treatments.

I'm working on vacuum port for sandblaster from PVC pipes. I've already finished extension tube for sandblaster.

fabulous vid. and sadly this self-absorbed nerd failed to mention the "root-cause" of all this build-up in the intake tracts: faulty turbo seals.
