Yep. I've repaired a few and built replacements for them as well. Check the studs to make sure they're still there and not snapped off.
So it looks like the collector bolts vanished and the collar slide down the pipe and it looks to be cracked. Anyone ever experience this before? Crappy cell pic but the crack is just above the collar

Is there a way to get the pipes out without rotating the motor? I am stumped, please help.
Yup.

Easier to just drop the motor & use a 3/8 flex adapter for rear head studs.
That thread takes longer to read than just rotating the motor. You don't have to pull intake either. It's rubber, it flexes plenty to get header off. From air box, disconnect front VR bracket, 2 lateral supports & front head support from frame, motor will come down.
i got them out. Look much worse than i thought so i ordered a new set from American Sportbike. Now have to wait.....
I had a header do that on a high winding small block on the dyno one day! Talk about scaring the **** out of a guy!! :) (I know...not Buell related, but....?!)
Found a broke stud....the rear one that's a bitch to get to. Yeah that one, ****!
looks easy to get to its right there in the picture:p at least you got time while your waiting for parts
