So I'm currently on a deployment overseas. I found the buell i want back home in Texas. I'm paying cash so the bank won't be involved, but I'll need a friend of mine to do the transaction. My questions are: should my buddy sign the bill of sale? How would I get the title signed into my name? Dmv says you have 30 days to go in and submit the new title, I won't be home until October. Anything else that I need as the buyer?

He can pay for it and sign, and even get the title in his name. Then when you get back you can transfer ownership and have the title changed over. He can sign it over as a gift so taxes will be low.
