I dropped off my firebolt 3 weeks ago at the dealer because I couldn't figure out the problem. When I start it up it dies after a few seconds then makes a popping sounds and smoke comes from the front of the bike. I took the bike a part last winter to get it powder coated. I rode it and it was doing ok then one day it started idling funny and now it won't run. Not sure what is wrong and the dealer is trying everything and they have no idea. They have already replaced the o2 sensor, spark plugs and injectors and it's still doing the same thing. HELP!!

Yes I made sure they were all really clean. I even checked them a second time.
Where exactly is the smoke coming from ? ... Just curious ...
I think it's coming from the intake
ecm. it's popping thru one or both intake valves and into throttle body on shutdown. hence the smoke.
So the ECM is bad? Or it just needs to be programed?
They finally figured it out. It was the Cam Sensor! Finally time to ride
