If you guys decide to make it a bit further east, I'll definitely do my best to show up. I'm about an hour northeast of Phii, that's in N.J.

They look sexy as heck, but I don't think they are made for much more than a trip to the café.
Got a riding buddy on a R9T (the regular one), he's 70-ish and rides the piss out of it! No chicken strips for him!
damn, man, i grew up in Perkiomenville and went to school in Boyertown. That Pottstown/Reading/Allentown triangle seems nice (i'll likely never have my bike up there anymore now that i moved to NC, but).
SE PA has some of the best roads, because a lot of them were wagon tracks/cowpaths/whatever before the days of blasting straighter roads, that just have So. Many. Curves. NC piedmont doesn't because it's flattish... you have to follow a creek to get turns
It sucks now because i haven't been on a motorbike in 10 yrs and i'm frankly timid, but when I took a friend who grew up in Houston and Atlanta home (en route to Canada for a scooter rally) he was like "oh, no wonder how come you can find apexes, this is how you go to the grocery store?!"
i think i oughta set a goal of riding up there from NC and going riding around with you guys.
I'll have my Scg out in a few weeks. I generally do Philly to Washington Crossing State Park to New Hope, and maybe up to Easton, or Philly to Gilbertsville area via Rt 73 to visit family
Due to the Noreaster, they just salted the roads again, going to be cold in the mornings this week with rain snow mix arriving in the middle of the week. Hopefully the rain will wash the salt away unless, they salt again. For some reason, it seems to me that, they've been putting down a lot more salt than usual. I can only chalk that up to the idiots that really don't know how to drive.
The ride up from Wash. crossing to new hope is a nice one.
