Just a tip I found handy this weekend when reinstalling the stack. Vice grips slip off way too easily and my stack was too tight to push on with the metal band in place. Using a simple zip tie made the job a breeze. Just slip it on and cut off the zip tie.

Additionally for the flange wrap a piece of 550 cord, or a shoe string in the groove. Then place the airbox over top and pull the string up through the hole and it will pull the upper part of the flange over the airbox first try every time.

The zip tie trick is a good tip as well.

I just dont use the metal clamp. The stack is so tight it seals fine without it. Plus, if anything, it's under vacuum.
