Trying to replace my stock O2 sensor with a WB sensor. Stock sensor will not budge. Tried everything I can think of. Before I take a hammer to it and tear something up thought I would check for any wisdom from others having this problem. My new sensor is waiting to get installed so I can do finer tuning.

Heat it and get a crayola. Rub the crayola or a wax candle around the top where it's threaded in. It should wick in and help a little. Or heat slightly and let cool a bit and spray with silicone spray.

Pb blaster...let it soak. Then a little heat. If it's seized don't try to take it out in one whack. Break it loose until it tightens up, then spin it back in. I have never used the wax trick but I hear it works great.

Thanks. Will give it another whirl tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Always the simple stuff that is difficult.

PB blaster and some heat did the trick. The WB O2 sensor is installed. Have to get a USB serial adapter to hook up to my computer so I can program the analog output.

The downside is I managed to snap the rear brake line switch right above the banjo bolt. So going to have to find one and replace it. Anyone know the part number by chance? Can't seem to find it.
