Thread: Stripped primary adjustment - What now?

    Thanks everyone for the replies. I already have a primary cover ready to go, but hopefully the above fix will save someone else the expense. Clutch cable has been ordered.

    Hey njloco. I'm not sure what you mean by "the mating drain plug". The steel gas fitting is screwed into the tapped case from the underside then the bras nut fitted so the weight from the primary chain is on the brass nut and steel thread, not the weak alloy case. Everything has sealed well so far.
