ok, got the line on, began servicing 'til the res was at the max limit. closed off the nipple. applied pressure to the brake pedal and spongy as hell. watched the brake pads for movement and nothing. so I removed the caliper to have a closer look, repeated applying pressure to the brake pedal, still no movement of the brake pads or pistons. loosened the nipple and applied pressure to the pedal and fluid began to seep, to be expected. so WTF? keep in mind guys, I reverse service my brakes and have been doing so for years with no issues 'til know, any ideas what's going on?

palm to forehead...the nipple wasn't tightened down enough. found that the rear brake switch wasn't working after testing front brake switch. so looking for a rush delivery for the switch now...

bracket and caliper installed, brakes work fine now
