Thread: Cleaning supplies

  1. #1
What's everyone use to clean their bikes? What works best on what parts? I see the manual recommends harley products, but does everyone actually use those? The closest dealership to me is over an hour away and Im not too keen on the idea of driving that far for cleaning supplies if I don't have too.

    Any help is much appreciated

Meguires Quik Detailer on everything all year, and once a year I use s100 foam spray and give the bike a wash with water.

I use Meguires Natural Shiners. Gives it a clean but dull gloss to it. Just keep it off the clear plastic, but it looks good on everything else !!

Honda cleaner on all plastic makes the blacks shiny, and sometimes I use the s100 just because it smells like the banana popsicles!

If you can find it, Pig Spit. I use on everything like the Mcguires spray. Good stuff. Then I hand wash a couple time a season mainly to get off the break dust and dead bugs.
