I think some of the people I have met with Buells are having symptoms of excessive carbon build up in their motors. Not sure if there is a thread already on here that covers this, but I know someone has to know what I am talking about? In the old days when there was lead in the gasoline this was more common in diesels. I know my Uly definitely had it when I bought it 3 years ago, so I feel compelled to make a list of the symptoms because I feel sorry for a lot of these motorcycles that are struggling needlessly:

1. Slow starting, motor seems like it struggles to crank over.
2. Rough idle.
3. Slow acceleration, low power at any speed.
4. Excessive noise and pinging.
5. Motor runs hot.
6. Poor gas mileage.
7. Rider/owner not happy with motorcycle performance

I am sure there are more symptoms.... I am not a spokes person or a sales person......
I am bringing the topic up because I believe it is preventing a lot of bikes, even well maintained ones, from truly reaching their potential. I know the expertise here will know what I am talking about as well as the possible solution(s).
