Anyone also check out Aod Custom making translucent airbox, fender, and windscreens for Lightnings on the forum's fb page? $470 for three pieces, so far yellow and green pics have been posted. Asked what other colors they have done, now to wait and see what else they come up with.

Looks like these are still available from a small shop in Thailand. They must be purchased via paypal from I think it's his sister maybe? The front fender appears to be a 3 piece design to minimize cracking. Looks like good stuff and I'm leaning hard towards green!

I just ordered an air box cover and front fender in colorless clear from them. The guy i was texting with seemed really nice. He's really into Buells. The combination cost 370+120 shipping. He tells me they will ship in a few weeks and send pictures before shipping. I'll upload them here as I get them.

Here's some additional files if anyone is interested in seeing them. I asked they not assemble or drill any holes in the front fender. I intend to fasten it together using another means. I realize the front fender would look like crap with daily use. It's kind of a showy use thing anyway. My black fender is for daily use.

The fender looks good and i like the idea of "weekday" parts and "sunday best" parts so to speak and certain sexy parts you want to look after! and mate all those colours to choose from! AWESOME!

Front fender will likely get scratched up from all the road debris kicked up and turn whitish. Does he do clear windscreen? Not quite as bad as fender.

Would buy an xb12s right now if I could go clear windscreen and airbox. Excited to hear how these look! Thanks for biting the bullet sext9

He does do windscreen for Lightning, the air box and the fender.
