Can anyone say anything on the durability of these parts?
- cracking of mounting holes
- scratching
- collecting Dirt (inside of Airboxcover, Frontfender)
They make and provide the air box trim ring. There's is grey. I separate all of my trim rings so I can mix and match. The black part you see is one I provided from one of my other air boxes.
And yes he is still building these.

The mounting holes crack.
The undersides dont get more or less dirty than a regular part, but you can see the dirt on the inside, so it can look worse... unless youre the type who will want to remove the inside to keep it clean on a regular basis.
Scratches can be handled by products such as Novus.
I just love that...
The clear ones are just begging for a graphics treatment the way we used to do R/C car bodies. Paint the inside any color you wish and leave clear graphics that would trip people out!
