I’m trying to understand why you would want to wrap the cover with the logo still on. Enlighten me

Because it looks rad with a tail lift and an extended swingarm. Ask Cooter.

Are you just not wanting to remove the emblem? You want to wrap Around it? If that’s the case then don’t waste your time. It will look absolutely terrible. Do it correctly. Remove logo. Wrap air box. Re install logo.

The reason i want to keep the logo is that i think it would look cool, kinda 3D

Preferences aside, it probably could be done if you're very meticulous and go slowly with the right tools, but I doubt it will it will turn out well. That kind of thing always sounds simple but can be really tricky to get right. Even if it does fool people into looking like real carbon, it will be obvious very quickly with imperfections. If I were going to wrap I would find something more original that they don't already make the airbox in, like some kind of metallic or flat color, and I'd remove the logos...

Ok. So you wanted to wrap Over the emblem for a 3D effect. Gotcha. I think it would be possible to do, however I still don’t think it would turn out well. I have to go with ridethelightning on this one. Carbon fiber wrap looks cheesy. Any idiot can tell the difference. Do something a little more tasteful. I sprayed satin clear over my factory yellow and it turned out great. It’s subtle, but that’s my thing. Prep work is key. Take your time. You’ll end up with a very nice factory looking wrap. I’ll be heading down this same road for a winter project.

Scoop, air ducts, OE, Gloss, matte, plain or twill weave, your choice.

I have a full carbon fiber one with scoops, used, and a tiny bit of damage. Cheap. PM me if you're interested.

Everyone I know who's done it, has taken it off rather quickly for various reasons. Including Chaos Causes, who probably inspired your idea
