Nice job with the wrapping. :D For my first attempt I'm going to use Oracal with laminate. It going to cost me about 30 bucks so it's worth trying. Thanks for the response, I was hoping I wasn't the first to try this.

Hi Buellysses. It is the bike license and registration disc to say it is road legal.

Well architech, I attempted to wrap the hardest part, the airbox. It wasn't horrible but not nearly as good as I expected. I guess I will try it again later but I think I may try to trade my yellows or get them painted.
    Good luck.

Sounds like you guys share the same thoughts. I was thinking to have it professionally done - I am pretty confident in my abilties, just a little nervous about the compound geometry of the airbox cover - I can't see how to do that one without a crease. Any idea how much this would run me pro? Any suggestions on where to buy the material? If the price is right I will give it a shot on my own.

Flaya, the photo's a little dark, but looks pretty good. How did u manage that one? Even with heating and stretching, its got to to tough to get it crease free. Also, I have the OEM 'Buell' and 'American Motorcycles' tags on the tank - What i am to expect upon removing these? Are they just glued and come off easy?

Well photo can lie, lol. For the most part there are no creases. BUT that is because when I can down the sides, the vinyl there was so much extra vinyl, I just had to cut and and put separate black panels after the bend.

I took the vinyl off, It would bother me every time I saw it.

I took the american motorcycle off. It's got a strong adhesive(like a strong 3M double sided tape) on it but can easily peel off. I used like a goof off (adhesive remover) and a razor.

I'm a tournament bass fisherman, and my title sponsor for the year, H20 Hydro Wraps, wrapped my boat. It holds up great in the water. I haven't had any problems with it at all yet.

I think I may have them wrap my plastics. Its free why not?

Tf1182, You fish FLW? What's that lake in the background?

I fish B.A.S.S. and FLW events. I have no idea what lake that is. I took that right after I got it wrapped outside of Nashville TN. Do you?
