Thread: Jardine GP-1 vs RT-1

  1. #1
I was just curious, what is the difference between these exhausts?

I have heard a lot about the RT-1, must repack every 5k miles, but what about the GP-1?
Are they both basically the same or what?

    Any input would be appreciated.

They are exactly the same except the gp-1 exits left of the swingarm and back. There is one advantage of the gp-1over the rt. Its less likely to lose the end cap. Dont buy jardine. You can find quality units used and new here. Hope this helps.

The GP1 has a long tube that exits from the exhaust and extends out about the length of the rear tire. The RT-1 has a small 2-3 inch outlet. If you pack the Jardine with ASB packing no repack is necassary for 10k or more.
