I reset my tire pressure.....it runs SO much better now too.
ricky: if it feels "snug" in the middle and a bit "free" coming off the turns try letting 1/2 lb. out of the right rear. Sterling used to do that all the time and worked nicely for him.:p

I actually just purchased an air intake cover from Bestem...I'll see if I approve of the quality and if it has the notorious misshapen ring that goes around the bas filler...It can't be any worse than my brand new Cherry Bomb translucent cover breaking at the front mounting holes...basically junk now...Lol!!

Gloomshadow...have been looking around for a better RSS and came across this site, go figure local to me and had no clue...CF carbon and sent them an email to see if they will make a rear seat cowl for the Lightning, ASB has 'em, but for that price wow, even the FG one is expensive...should have kept my old one that a bought from them back in '06 for 160 bucks, what ASB sold for then.

that is the same piece that Bestem is going to sell you.. see that rear mount on that thing? That is going to have to be cut and finished... for the price the Bestem kit is a better deal because you will get the other side scoop for the same price as just this one.

yes that is a great deal...CF Carbon sells those pieces both in cf and fg, that's why there's two pictures of the same item. I'm really not into the cf look and if I were, probably wouldn't stop with one piece, I'd have the entire bike covered in cf...kinda OCD:p

at that price I can afford to mess with cf though.. I am going to get that oil cooler scoop from the CF Carbon site you showed us .. then later on Ill get that front fender and call it quits for now.. although a CF undertail would free up my oem unit so I can convert my R into a S .. or a FrankenBuell.. I want at least a S tail on my R..
