That map in the ecm wasn't designed for that pipe. It might get you close.
Hey guys and gals? Lol.. So I'm trying to figure out if I buy a race ecm of that will cover my basis if I get a d&d exhaust and k&n air filter, or will I need to program it either way? I was just trying to figure out a way to just make it as easy as hooking up the exhaust and plug in the race ecm and ride.. I have been reading up on remapping the original ecm but if I just buy a race ecm will it have everything I need?

Are you talking a old Buell race ecm, or a EBR race ecm?
EBR has the option for D&D pipes.

I read on this forum that ebr's ecm was having problems considering cost also the race ecm is $175 and ebr is $300 from what I remember reading
I just got the EBR race ECM along with the Drummer SS exhaust and they did have an option for the D&D as well.
Maybe I will just cough up the extra cash and get ebr worse case I can just return it. Trying to get this bike ready for the season.
I personally wouldn't have any second thoughts about running a Buell ecm with the D&D, the tune wont be 100% correct for the pipe but id imagine the difference is negligible.
