There's only 2, maybe that member is talking about lower triple.
I'd also ride it as is, it won't move but if it's crooked it could wear the tire funny.
Oh9 should have part numbers, posted them on my thread once
you're a braver man than I. with the torque specs being so critical on these bikes>leading to bearing failure, I don't want to chance it.
I'll look for new shocks and chalk this up to a learning experience.
I've been scouring the internet for part numbers, I found some but they are for the black shocks, I'm going to want aluminum.
If anyone sees any out there for sale on this or other forums, or on ebay, etc, I'd be appreciative if you could give me a head's up.
Truly appreciate the support.
Terp, that's exactly what I meant. :) Only if you get the axle to go all the way.
axle is in all the way. but how would I torque it to spec?
Honestly, I just torque mine to feel and tighten the pinch bolts. It sounds like you have a torque wrench, so go ahead and torque it that way.
^^^^ pretty much most things on a Buell atnthis point.
I had the torque wrench past 80ft lbs to get that ****er in, no way I'm riding like that. What a ****ty day
