Why would the speedo be off? I saw this when it was posted. With extra stuff it's fair price
I have no idea why it's off. I've replaced the speedo sensor and still same results.
Curious about the speedo.. a primary from a 12 maybe? or would that make it read slower?
Did you upgrade the belt?
No upgraded belt, don't know about the primary. It'll run with a 12 no problem so possibly some work was done prior to me purchasing???....
Definitely reads faster at least 15%....

Here's the S tail I have also. Tail has damage from previous owner on the left rail (pics below). I never installed the tail, plan was to fix and powder coat rails white but never got around to it. Seat is a little rough but I seat cover for it that just needs installed. If you need more pics let me know. Hows $225 on the tail (everything in the pics below) plus shipping? All I have for the S tail is in the pics below. I have never installed the tail personally so there could be a bolt missing or something small I don't have. Its somewhat of a project anyways but figured I'd throw that in as a disclaimer. One more disclaimer person buying the bike has first dibs but if I have cash/payment prior to the purchase of the bikes its yours.....

15% sounds like a lot.
I love the use of the firebolt seat release cable for the S-tail. :) Looks like the only thing you are missing is indeed a few bolts (that can be gotten off a firebolt tail for the most part) and the brake reservoir and line.

plus riding next to other vehicles comparing speed and then just calculating. ......, I've had the bike since 2011 so I've checked/compared several times. Have to have an idea of how fast you're going............
