Or just hook the lights up to a keyed power source...... Like the hot wire to your oem headlights
So I did the mod on this page, except I ran a dedicated power supply from my battery to the DPDT.

The HID light stays in even after the key has been turned off. Any ideas on how to fix my problem?

I can't find a toggle switch that looks appropriate. I searched Amazon, parts stores and I'm finding only switches that need to be mounted in another housing.
