The problem with selling privately is that Harley-Davidson themselves are funding this blowout sale. They are offering huge incentives directly to the dealers. Maybe they learned something from the cash for clunkers program. In any event, they are making quite a stir, that's for sure. Heck, I'm a Ducati rider and always admired the Firebolt and even liked it after test riding one, but to be honest, I'd never want to spend over 10 grand for it when I can get my Ducs for little more. But at 6 grand? I'm in!
