If that were mine, I would want to show it off as well. Beautifully done!
Yeah... I know....This is a M/C forum. But I just finished up a rat rod build and got done laying down a PAIR of black marks at every stop sign within 10 miles of my house lol. It's a 1953 Ford F100. Last year I finished up my Cafe Buell XB12r build... they look good together.
If that were mine, I would want to show it off as well. Beautifully done!
I love it mate! and they sure do look good together, just one problem though they should be in my garage!! :D
That doesn't look like a rat rod to me. Looks more like a traditional build. I hate the rad rod term. People think because it doesn't have shiny paint it's a rad rod.
Matt
^ I agree. That's a really sharp truck, but I think a rat rod is, for lack of a better term, a POS that's souped up...
I didn't see the truck in the first picture :p
Truck looks good. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail as always. I don't know what condition it was in before you started but it's damn excellent now. Let's see under that big red hood. That's where the real fun is. ;)
I have a 64 El Camino with a 427 sitting in line behind the 1125 in my garage. A few older import bikes as well.
Dude, that's bad ass work. Nice job.
Is it the v8 or just the grill? Looks really nice, I love the f100's. Great build(s)!
Hey guys, I didnt go into much detail. I just built it up to run and get through the summer. I had different intentions to make it mine. I tossed a rod and started the build early. I'm covering it HERE.
If you like this sort of thing keep an eye on it every once in a while. I won't be posting about here until its done. Couple years.
checked out the thread, nice work. It will be bad ass when your done. Not a rat rod at all. One of the rat rods traits is rust and some mis-match. That is a good looking truck, clean and coherent.
