Hi everyone, I have been trying for weeks to get my bluetooth adapter to connect to my bike. It's a 09 xb9sx. I have had no luck at all. I keep getting an error saying "timeout reading 0 from 6 bytes". I know some other people have had this issue and want to know what they did to fix the issue? I have made sure the baud rate is set to 9600, made sure the voltage is knocked down to power the module also. I have tried 3 modules and each says the same thing. HELP!

Make sure that you have paired the bluetooth adapter to your phone in the phones settings menu. After successfully pairing the Bluetooth module turn the bike off then back on and hit connect in Ecmdroid. I found it would connect and read fine if I hit connect within 30 seconds of turning the bike on but if I let it sit for a while before hitting connect it would error out.

I tried to get connected right after turning the ignition on but still had no luck. It says "reading ecm' immediately followed by "timeout reading 0 from 6 bytes".
Did you build it or did you but it from someone? When I built my own I could never get it to connect. Something was wrong with the the data lines but I couldn't figure out what it was. In the end I bought one from the group buy on here and it has worked perfect so far.
Built it. I might have to just buy one. Unless someone else has had the save problem and knows how to fix it! Does anyone still make them?
Mine is doing this too. I haven't used it in a while, been using USB to a laptop, but decided to log with it the other day. It used to work fine; I bought it from Xopti a while back.
I bought one and can't get it to work either, damn electronic crap!
Just ordered a Mikuni carb, I know it will work!
I have a complete Buell EFI system for FREE, you just got to dig it out of my trash can, and fix the bullet holes in it.
