Thread: Intake backfire

  1. #1
New buell owner. Just started to modify her I've got a Vance&hines exhaust and a custom intake. Trouble I'm having is a intake backfire off idle any ideas would be greatly appreciated. The popping only started after the intake not the exhaust

That would be awesome I may do the brass washer shim not sure if this will help at all. Rode it again just now and it only pops thru the intake when it idlesdown complete for at a stop when I open the throttle to go pop. Then if it stalls it's really hard to get it to start again.
