that top end sneaks up on ya... don't it?
My 12 is a daily commuter. I ride about 60-90 miles round trip in freeway and in-town city street traffic. Cali roads are pretty fast pace, 80mph is just keeping up with the flow of traffic. I was whipping through some gaps to hit open road and was blown away with how much pull the bike has in 5th. 105 seemed to just happen and I realized I it was time to relax a bit.
Thanks for exposing us to this stuff Gloomshadow.
I'm using 30ml per 2.5 gallon fill up at the moment. I like the results so far...

Anyone using 20w-60 redline in an 1125R?
if its rated for 60 weight you can run it..

I'm ready!
Weather sucks in Southern Hemisphere. Now that it is better, I'm recovering from some flu...
Hopefully I'll be able to ride a bit next week.
yeah give us a report on that as you go... what bike is it? a 1203? what mods?
08 XT with 1203, modded exhaust, servo delete and K&N filter, but that's it.
you race map it yet? Its gonna SHINE with that race map in the ecm..
Alright before everyone goes dumping stuff in their tank, and please correct me if I am wrong, I am not too familiar with the xb valvetrain and I did not read all 6 pages of this thread. So if I am blabbering on along the ditz train please excuse.
You will experience certain benefits through having a lubricant in the fuel. This being the case because under normal circumstances the only lubricant touching the valves is the fuel, which normally has no lubricant additive. 2 smoke mix being an exception. A mix provides additional lubrication through intermittent use potentially prolonging valve life and could possibly provide additional performance at high engine speeds. On the downside you will experience additional carbon and residue buildup. Potentially leading to premature valvetrain failure if used consistently.
My $.02 anyways.
Debunk me please because I truly wish to believe in some magical concoction that will make my bike more awesome. Not trying to be a dick. I'm serious lol
not magical and has been used in hot rodding at these ratios for decades with oil data to back it up.. read the six pages. the ratio is 600 to 1 or 300 to 1...
