Just as title states anyone have any ideas on removing the cover. All bolts are off. Clutch cable off. Clutch ramp off chain adjuster is lowered all the way just doesn't want to budge any advice is appreciated as long as it pertains to the situation at hand thanks

Get a rubber mallet and start knocking on the edge around the cover till it busts loose.
Don't go all Ray Rice on the poor girl and beat the crap out of it. Just give it a little persuasion.

Rubber or plastic mallet is your best option like Chicknstripn said don't go full bore on it.

I ray riced it because I didn't want to mayweather it and I had a brand new one which was why it was coming off anyways but all is well now for some oil to make sure no leaks and then I need to find a new pinch bolt for the shifter piece manual says 12-15 ft pounds on that bolt I'm thinking in pounds is better because I broke it trying to get to ft pounds freaking misprints

Helicoils gone wrong. Marked the bit a little too far and went right through trying to repair the clutch inspection cover hole that stripped. I know I could of prolly had the holes filled and redrilled and tapped but that seemed half assed and I wanted it done right. Plus there was a smooth spot from jeans rubbing from POs

let me know what you want for the old cover? im interested for a project! And I have had many off....some fall off, some need some knocks with a mallet...possibly a small wedge ...i like to use smooth plastic wedges, like for body filler to help split the cover from the engine.

Nope gave it a good hit not in the elevator tho. Me and the bike don't go to the hotels a lot to have to use the elevators. On a positive note the bike does still want to get married.........its to early for bad ray rice jokes. Not enough Sinatra jack Daniels in me to continue this.
