Hey guys, I'm looking for a parts cross reference on the throttle position sensor for my '06 Uly. I'd like to get it locally to save some time and $.

The Buell/Harley part number is: P0279.3AA

From what I gather, there are three different TPS's: early, mid, late. The mid part is the one I need. American Sport Bike has it, shows it as part #: 17492. http://www.americansportbike.com/sho...how/17492.html
17492: Throttle Position Sensor, Buell OEM, 06-07 XB FI: OEM Throttle Position Sensor, For all Buell late 2006 and 2007 XB models. Late model 2006 TP sensors have two orange dots on the side of them. Old style 99-early 06 TP Sensors don't have the orange dots. If in doubt, contact us prior to ordering for more details on how to determine which yours is. See #17493 for 99-02 tube frame and early 06 early XB models, and 17491 for 2008-2010 models.
Additionally, Buell issued a service bulletin describing changes to the throttle body and the TPS shown in this pic, my TPS is the one labled: NEW.

Here's a link to the actual service bulletin: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...62A-263608.pdf

So does anyone have a Ford/GM/BMW/whatever part number cross reference for the P0279.3AA part that I might be able to find at a local auto parts store?

    Thanks. -Ed

And just to save some back and forth, the '93 Mustang Duralast TPS213 with the pins oriented at 9 and 3 o'clock is not the correct TPS for my bike.

And from what I can tell, these ones are also not the correct parts:
    Duralast #TPS213
    AIRTEX Part # 5S5022
    Standard motor products TH317
    BECK/ARNLEY Part # 1580864
    Duralast TPS4129

heres my post from my old trouble code 11 thread

Ok that ford part# fits 04-06 xb12 with a different Throttle Body Pin oreintation 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock. The 07 changed to 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock. Which is a part that i thinked ford made for 93 only mustangs but no longer manufatures. No aftermarket ones r availible in my area and the online photos dont show the pin orientation well enuff. So im goin 2 get a harley one. Possible ford #cx1323(if ne one wants to find one and c if it fits. The harley #is po279.3aa.

    Thanks Buelly.

I couldn't find that Ford cx1323 in stock anywhere, not even online, so I ordered the 17492 (P0279.3AA) part from Al at American Sport Bike.

Placed the order this afternoon, rec'd emails, it shipped already, It should be here sometime later next week.

It's great to have those guys supporting us. -Ed
