thanks, it's 8 feet long and since the bench does not have support midway, the 1/4" steel flat stock prevents the bench top from sagging

Another reason I love this thread! all the Ideas!

well i rebuilt a blast that was in peices over the winter. havnt had time to get into another project since i went back to work, home for 2 days gone for 5. but i do plan on doing a tune up to my truck and car. i also have a old four wheeler that has to be torn apart and rebuilt. i put the blast pics up and made a tread about it.
Been working on my truck lately. New timing chain and having to make a new exhaust for it. Rebuilt my chainsaw that crapped out anyway. Brought a neighbors old 4wheeler back to life, 86' YFM225. Also have a new coffee table in the making, the last one cracked. 105mm shells from an AC-130 gunship used for the legs. Keeps me off the streets as my Dad would say...
That's cool.105mm shells from an AC-130 gunship used for the legs
I'll be in the garage working on this tomorrow, took the day off after my work trip to get it back together
AZ is your frame painted or are they the frame protectors? I love the dark black look!
It's painted, the frame was painted when I got it, it was a little flatter than that, but had some scratches, sanded it down and tried to match the previous color with no luck. So it ended up like that, I really hate that pic because it shows how many shades of black it is... I have some buell aerosol touch up paint that I am going to use to repaint the frame, swingarm, and tail with. It's the 09-10 frame paint that I will be using.
And the wheels are at the powder coater now....
I like it, i have the blacked out 2009 ss and even that has loads of shades of black so i was thinking of doing my frame that colour but was thinking it may be too much dark black? Interested to see yours all done its a nice looking bike whats there so far! ;)
