    Hey everyone,

I recently decided to fulfill by dream of riding a motorcycle. I took the MSF course and received my license last month.

I was sure of buying a GSXR until my brother introduced me to Buell. After hearing about what they were I fell in love, went out, and bought one. Well sort of...it's on layaway.

This '07 XB9R was the only Firebolt within a 400m radius for sale (that I found). The bike has been dropped, but the damage is light. The dealership has agreed to replace the mirrors, signals, and right grip. Mechanically, the bike sounds beautiful. Mileage just under 9k.

I will be picking it up before the end of this month. Can't wait to take it out!

BTW I will be riding in the Texas, Plano/Frisco area.

    Onto the pics:

Thanks, I'll get the ordered soon. Did they come adhered to the fairing from the factory?

Again, thanks for the warm welcome. I picked up the bike 2 days ago, and absolutely it!

Not gonna lie, I was nervous about the 15m ride back home, but the stability and torque at speed quickly calmed me down.

    Upon my first ride:
Low beam is too dim. I'll be looking into HID kits.
The bike has a left side air scoop.
Doesn't want to turn well. Going to look into adjusting suspension

Planning on looking over the bike in detail when I get home from work. Here are a pics before the ride :)

Anyone here in the Dallas area? I'm in Frisco and would love to ride with some fellow Buellers.
