I have an 07 Firebolt and it seems all of the lights could be a little stronger. I keep tossing around the idea of getting some HIDs from DDM tuning and getting the cat eye LED turn signals and rear LED brake light from ASB. Just not sure if its worth the 200 to 300 bucks. Anyone with any of these upgrades have input as to if they are worth it? I don't plan on night riding much but I want to be seen at all times of the day.

    Shouldn't be that much...

    HID's are usually about $50ish
Here are mine, to the right is the light from my friends speed tripple.

The 2010 LED tail light is about $60 and brighter than any other light I have seen.

Yes, well worth the $$ for the additional light output. Color temperature plays a large part in what you get though. I recommend not going over the 5k color. Anything above that starts turning blue and you actually lose visible (and usable) light output.

I was looking at the 55watt 5500k. They seem slightly whiter than the 4500k. I also slightly worry since there are disclaimers on the turn signals that they are technically marker lights. I'm most worried about the front light and brake light as they seem the weakest of the lot.

I have a new 2010 led tail light for sale. But I'll admit the xblight led is worth the money. Thats what I am running on my cr.

I'm not sure I want the xb lights model? The integrated tail and turns seems cool but I worry people wouldn't notice the turns...and then you have holes to fill where the old turns were.

Its definitely bright, I can't stand behind my bike when the brakes are applied. As for the turn signals they are about as big as an aftermarket led turn you would put on, just not spaced out.

How much for the 2010 LED brake light? and does it have the standard connectors or the spade connectors? My 07 has 1/4 spade connectors

Also to those of you who have the LED turns can you post some pics? Debating between the vertical and horizontal cat eyes.
