A guy from work is selling his '01 Buell Blast for $1200. He says it has "Drag bars, Jardine exhaust, bar end mirrors, k&n air filter, racing spark plug, and rejetted carburetor" and has ~7k miles.
Obviously a lot depends on a lot and it's hard to tell without actually looking at the bike but any insight into reliability and pricing is helpful.
Sounds like a really good price to me, blasts are good little bikes. The rejetting has been done to compensate for the aftermarket exhaust so thats normal. Drag bars look good on the bike and those grips are highly sought after "buell traction" grips.
They are reliable bikes and easy to work on and plenty of knowledgeable blast owners here such as jetlee, if you were to ever have problems.
Agree with the above...change the front tire asap to something other than the Dunlop K330.
That's a nice price for a Blast with those upgrades (and only 7K miles or so)!
