Bad news, the local machine shops gave me too expensive price for the brackets and I've already bought a new set of passenger footpegs with all fixtures. The best price is $1,040 for a pair ($520 ea).

So I've decided to make the brackets completely flat from standard 1/4" aluminum plate and I ordered universal Ryca folding foot pegs for the brackets.

    Here are the drawings

Today I threw the CAD files and the drawings in a local waterjet cutting shop and it should be significantly cheaper and faster.

The flat brackets use the same set of screws ans spacers I mentioned before. The only extra screw is for the Ryca folding foot pegs. I believe 3/8"-16 Thread, 1" Length should work, I ordered it here http://www.mcmaster.com/#92235a523/=y8rhnc

I don't know if you saw in my first post but I said it was going to be too expensive. the amount of time and cost for material is expensive. If you made a run of 100 or so then the cost would drop.

In my previous post, I also mentioned you should just do these out of flat stock and have a welder weld the foot peg tabs on. Much cheaper and you can still use the passenger pegs.

$520 is the price for one part with the welded features. It is 100$ cheaper than the part made of whole piece of metal.

The waterjet shop price is $180 for the both brackets. I hope I will have them soon. I'm going to paint them black by flameproof paint.

Today I've got the universal foot pegs from Rycamotors. They look good.

Sweet! That's a much more reasonable price...
Have you thought about doing powder coating? You can get into it pretty cheap and do it with a junk electric oven. It's so easy to do and comes out so even!
Can't wait to see everything installed!

The brackets are ready. Instead of powder coating I'm going to paint it with WHT paint.

Here is my home maid highway food pegs kit
