Tuning Process Question (Non Wideband 02 Sensor)

I'm trying to get smarter about Custom Tuning and wanted to validate these steps for NON Wideband 02 testing

1) Reset TPS
2) Burn Maps
3) Reset TPS again?
4) Do Closed Loop Ride?
5) What do you check for after Closed Loop Ride?
AFV, etc?

I have read through the Tuning Help Guides but wanted to pull these details out and get confirmation. Thanks for any help!

If you are burning fuel/timing maps only, it will not affect the TPS calibration value in the ECM. In any case, you can skip step 1 and leave 3.

Since you are familiar with the Tuning Guide, do you plan on following one of the tuning processes from section 7.2?

Will you use a front O2 sensor?

if you arent logging, theres not much to look for.

the afv will only tell you what amount of fuel it is adding or removing from the maps by measuring a very small number of cells.

the EGO will tell you the amount of fuel its adding/removing during idle if you have laptop connected and watching real time values. other than that....it wont tell you much without a log and analysis.
