a good reference video???
So. I'm about to make an impulse buy lol I know there is a big supermoto crowd on here so maybe I can get some insight from you guys. Im going Monday to check out/bring home a '98 Yamaha wr400. Looks to be in great shape. As long as it runs good and the bearings are ok then I'll be bringing it back. Anything in particular I should be on the lookout for?
I'm wanting to street it. Suggestions on a speedo/tach? I see a lot of vapors out there. What's cheap and works well enough? What's the usual price range for a set of wheels? Nothing fancy. Just some normal and preferably cheap 17's. I've got everything else I would need laying around the garage lol.
The WR will be my commuter bike. What kind of maintenance schedule am I looking at here? The 98's have the SS valves so they shouldn't be an issue. Do they like the highway? Wondering if it will handle daytrips..
Lastly, any gearing suggestions? I'd like to be able to cruise on the highway without the damn thing blowing up. That would be nice lol.

Less than a grand lol
Bike is inamazing shape. Runs flawlessly and wheelies in 4 gears. It's mad. Perfect!
the 400s were better than the 450s. all I have is my roommates xt225 to ride in the dirt, but she never rides it so its always fair game
Maybe now you will quit trying to off-road your 1125. LOL.
