09 buell xb12ss Harley V-twin - $4200

Turn key bike. Ride it home. Gets a lot of looks, fun to ride. Harley Davidson V twin. Has minor wear and tear scuffs. Never been wrecked. I believe I'm the 2nd owner. Little over 14k. I'm moving cross country, so sadly, up for sale is a 2009 Buell XB9Sx City X. This is the shorter wheelbase model of the Buell streetfighters. Absolutely great commuter/around town/cruising bike. Pretty lightweight, small turning radius, very maneuverable bike.

This bike is a torque monster. Has around 90hp, 70 ft-lb of torque. Will get up and go in any gear at any speed and it loves to go fast. I've been riding it around rural NC for a while now and I can confidently say this bike has provided me with the most fun I've had on two wheels. After getting to know this thing, its throttle forms a direct connection with the pleasure center of the brain (this has been scientifically proven by Erik Beull himself). Its roar, at any speed, will both fend off predators and attract mates. It sticks to the road in the corners so well that potential buyers were required to pass a high-G training course similar to the one astronauts have to endure.

Finally, mechanically, this bike is perfect. Gets up and goes like a new machine. It's got an extremely reliable air-cooled V-twin. There's just not much on the bike to fail you. Plus, 2009 was the last year this bike was manufactured, so this is as new as it gets for this model.
