    Firebolt Tail bag from MadHornets.com

Someone posted a link a while back to this Firebolt tail bag, it was $49.99 and looked more or less like the from Buell so I took a chance and pulled the trigger on it. I placed my order on August 27th and it arrive today, September 11th.

The top was pushed in a little bit so it has a few wrinkles but I think they will release after sitting in the sun for a bit. It seems like it was made fairly well.

The actual Buell instruction sheet was included in the box.

Here are a couple pics of the bag on the bike.

    Expanded

    Unzipped

Open with a spare shield in it(the main reason I wanted the bag)

Here is the link if anyone wants it:

Would that work on a Lightning?

You could try it but it is longer than a Lightning bag. I can take a couple of pics with this bag right next to a Lighting bag to give you a better idea if it will work for you.

This tail bag definitely isn't as nice as an OEM, the material on the top is very wrinkley unless it has been heated up by the sun, but I'm definitely glad I bought it. I have my clear shield(in a shield protector), a Carhardt thermal shirt, and an external battery pack for my phone all stowed in it nicely in preparation for my trip to Ocean City MD tomorrow to participate in the Delmarva Bike week festivities with my brother(HD Nightster) and Dad(03 HD SoftTail). I'll be wearing my BuellXB.com shirt and folding brim hat if anyone is going to be there.
