SCG to S height? How to?
I would like to get my SCG front end to normal S height. I know the rear is a shock replacement.
Can it be raised with the existing forks or do I need to do a swap?

In addition to the rear shock, you will need S or R front forks (same between the two) and sidestand to complete the swap. You shouldn't try to clamp the Scg forks higher. While you can gain a little height from it, you won't be able to gain enough.

Also depends on the year of forks you get. I believe up to 05 they were all 41mm then 06 and up s and r were 43mm. And you would nee the triple trees. It's only one of them that's different, but I forget if it's too or bottom.

If you found 03-04 (41mm) forks you won't need the lower triple.

I know most of the parts needed, the forks were my concern. I'm doing a R front end swap this winter and would like to do this as well if I can fund it.
