Forgot to mention, I had a stock seat shaved an inch to try and help with getting my feet on the ground. Didn't really help at all and it killed the ergonomics of the bike for me. Bike went from being a perfect fit, to rides over 30min started bothering my back and legs.

Just got mine this spring. Really enjoyed my first season with her! And...looking forward to doing a few mods over the winter.

Nice ride submax there are several of us who picked up longs this year. I very only had mine about 9 months and my blast a little over a year now. I bought the blast for the wife fell in love with it and had to have a lightning.

If I finally buy a XB12 SS, I'll probably add a STT saddle because it's a little bit higher.

I have always felt that the SS was the pinnacle of on-slab XBs, overcoming all of the XB's major shortcomings: limited fuel capacity, cramped cock-pit, & nervous front-end.
However, that extra wheel base also made the turning-circle much larger, making for awkward low-speed maneuvering.

Amazing pic go! It is a pain moving her around in tight places that's for sure. But on the open road it's a beast quick and agile. it's stable too it doesn't matter if you are going 30 mph or 130 it's sold as a rock.
