I love it! You are going to get more people dropping by. Just to help you 'fix' you garage door

Do you think its a good idea to use electromagnets to hold the door pieces together? You could select the type of opening with a multi channel remote (or bluetooth smartphone), even from outside. Press '1' for one section, '2' for 2 sections etc...

Pretty neat, just curious what's the benefit of this? Keeping animals out?

I like this! but im a bit confused as to how the lower 2 panels are connected to the whole thing? Like just locking them to the rails stops them from going up, but what connects them to the other 2 panels?

Looks a great idea to me! My 2 cents would be the addition of some sort of fly screen, may be a roller blind style but mounted up side down. The main roller mechanism could mount to the top of the lowest panel and the retractable screen could be attached to the bottom of which ever panel you remove the latches from and pull up to create an opening that is fly protected. It would work in the reverse of the current available set ups http://www.garagedoor-screen.com/ret...e-door-screen/ and would be on the inside of the door so it wouldn't be weather damaged when not in use.

Oh and I accept royalty payment by PayPal
