ECMspy gurus out there

got a pm from a forum member in need of guidance in changing/tweaking his fuel map and that's about it. have suggested he save the current map to fall back on if something goes wrong and avoid "bricking his ecm. I'm no expert on Ecmspy, therefor I ask all of you that know the program best...

now come on out of the wood work and give up the knowledge to help a fellow Bueller!

That covers the majority of what he needs to do, but instead of all the copy paste of changing to the race map, save the map, save the EEPROM, save them both again in a separate place just in case you screw up the first one. Then tweak away, when done just burn the new map to the ecm. If making any other changes, he obviously needs to burn those changes too.

Maybe this is for the same person who was asking me? Like I said, that video covers the majority of changing stuff with ecmspy. Once that is understood, it's fairly simple to make the changes you want and burn them.
