Madstad for Uly

Anybody acquired a Madstad windshield lately? The PO of my Uly had installed one over 4 years ago and the flyscreen is aluminum. Replacing the windshield after wreck a couple of weeks ago, and Madsstad now uses a gloss black cast acrylic flyscreen? I called Madstad and they say that the stock plastic flyscreen is not strong enough to hold a 18inch + Windshield, so they initially went to a metal one and then acrylic flyscreen. They said there has been no problems with the acrylic, anybody have any experience?

I have acrylic on mine and it is tough stuff. I'm not surprised.

I have the acrylic one also. Works good.

I just took delivery of my Madstad, the acrylic flyscreen is very robust.
I think it's going to work fine.

Just seen the Madstad installed, looks great!, matches the black air box.
