Or the ones for the 1/4-20 shoulder bolts?

I've seen some generic nylon washer kits for motorcycle fairings on eBay, but never looked into it. Ace hardware sells nylon washer, worth a try to see what they have.

dave; what cole said above. i am going to local hardware supply house today to pick up some goodies. let me see if they have those washers and if so will grab you some. you want the ones with 1/4" inside hole and approx 3/4" OD...correct? sound about right?

Any decent Ace hardware will have nylon washers that fit for .03¢ each. Just take in one of your shoulder bolts to check I.D. and O.D.

Yes, hate to disagree with John, but they are not 1/4 ID, the bolt threads are 1/4" but the nylon goes around the shoulder.

Are the washers about the same thickness? Any BIG difference and the part could be under or over torqued at the same bolt torque if it's a shouldered bolt, like on the airbox, fender, rear body section...

You wouldn't want to crack any body parts like some idiot on here. Those things are pricy! Hee hee.

I like the outside the box thinking, McGuyver!

Perfect! Now you'll have to make several hundred and put them up for sale on here
